Harris Ranch is a family owned and operated cattle ranch located on the Musselshell River in the heart of the Missouri River Breaks, northeast of Winnett, Montana. The ranch lies in big, rough country that is marked by long, pine-scattered ridges separated by deep, timbered coulees. Bub Nunn probably said it best when he described this part of the Breaks as “hard on horses and women, but it’s a cowboy’s paradise.”

Harris Ranch Quarter Horses developed out of the ranch’s daily use and constant need of stout, athletic, cow-minded horses. We have put together a small band of mares and one outstanding stallion to produce the kind of ranch horses that will get the job done for us, and we‘re confident they will for you, too.
