Joe’s foals are quiet, easy to train, athletic and nice to look at.  They are left on the mare, and not gathered out of the hills until they are weaned at 6 months of age.  This time spent in big, rough country “learning from mom” adds to their muscle and bone development, not to mention their agility.  By the time they are started at two years of age, they are already veterans at river crossings, thick timber, steep slopes, and deep canyons.  These colts are not being shown nor competed on, but they share pedigrees with horses are.  If you are looking for a horse that can cover country, sort cows, pack calves and drag calves to the fire, yet still perform well and stay quiet when you take them to town, you’ll find what you’re looking for here.  Check out their bloodlines, and feel free to contact us with any questions.
